Looks great. How long before you will be driving it?

 

depends on the rain. i have probably about 4 days worth of work left. in those 4 days i hopes to have the floors patched, rear end changed and quarter panels patched. that doesnt count interior overhaul, paint, primer, sanding or anything. that's just to get everything "major' completed and drive it down the street

 

What are you doing to the rearend?? Sorry if i missed it

 

change the damn thing. someone put in a 67-70 Mustang rear end. it probably wouldnt have been so bad if they wouldnt have taken out all of the brake parts, removed the drums and cut the rear brake hose. with all of that said, im going to put a Maverick/Comet rear end back in it





and for an update, i got it fired up and idle-ing under it's own power today even installed a dura-spark setup on it. tomorrow evening's plan include a rear end swap, bleeding the brakes, install driveshaft, and install floor shifter and column. not in that order but w/e comes first

between 20 cars in various conditions, a wife, 2 kids and a dog..... very damn little, lol

 

You should restore grabbers for a living..

 

not enough money in it, especially in this economy. i couldnt even sell the car as a complete roller for $800. not to mention after i start to drive them around, i get attatched to them

 

replace rear end today (X2), installed floor shifter, removed steering column, installed floor shift column and linkages, installed radiator, hooked up rear brake hose...... not bad for a day's work.

hopefully tomorrow i have all of the brakes bled, rims changed, radiator hoses installed (parts house had to order them ), new transmission lines run, and whatever else gets in my way :16suspect
