After some research, I think I might go this route. Still have some things to figure out, but so far my tallie is up to about $550. Not including a master cylinder or the little parts. As long as our spindles are the same as a mustang, then I don't see why it wouldn't work. I can get loaded calipers from rock auto for 170 for the pair.

Well, after talking with Steve I decided to go that route. I ordered my kit from him and ordered the calipers from rock auto. You're a bad influence Dave :) I'll pick up some rotors here next weekend probably.

Well, I got my front brake kit from Mustang Steve today. My rotors will be here tomorrow and my calipers should be here next week. My wheels and tires should be in tomorrow as well. It's fun getting new parts!

Got my rotors and calipers in along with the kit from Mustang Steve. Between this and the crown Vic rears, I don't think stopping is going to be an issue! Anyone know which master cylinder I should use?

I think it's the 93 Ranger one, that works good. I'll try and look it up

Finally warm enough for me to at least go out in the garage for a little bit. Going in tomorrow to get my tires mounted on my wheels, but I gave a little trial run first. I might end up using a little spacer to run the 275's on the rear. Not 100% sure I'll get them to fit, but I will give it my best shot. My buddy works at a body shop, so he has all the tools to roll the lips on the quater panel. Won't know till I have them mounted.

The tire looks good in there. Can't wait to hear how it turns out!

Thank you. I'm very excited to get them mounted so I can work on getting them fitted.

Got my tires mounted. Haven't tried the fronts yet, but the rears fit. Might end up using a 1/4" spacer as they are close to the leaf spring. Going to wait though till I get the rear disc brakes on and then see where it sits. Wish I could of got my hands on some 9" rear wheels, but American racing doesn't make them in the vintage style.

Obviously they just clear the leafspring, but what about the inner wheel house?

It is amazing how close the Nitto tread pattern is to my Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's.

They clear everything on the inner wheel well, but it is very close on the front. Right where the tire and wheel well intersect. Im sure if I cornered hard then I would have to worry. I think a 1/4" spacer and a little hammering will solve everything. :) once I roll the lips on the outside then it should be clear and free. I think if I had them on a 9" wheel also then they wouldn't bulge as much, so there would be a little more clearance. Tomorrow I'll test fit the fronts, that might be a different story! Lol
