Need a smaller Master Cylinder

    Found mine by rummaging in the back of the local Auto Zone. The two flare nuts you'll need that fit this master cylinder and the Maverick's 3/16" tube size are:

    AGS part # BLF-48C-5 - M12x1.0
    (interchange Edelmann part # 276012)

    and

    AGS part # BLF-39C-5 - M10x1.0
    (interchange Edelmann part # 276110)

    And you'll be doing a "bubble flare."

    Bubble Flare

    Clue me in. What is a Bubble Flare. When I do this mod I want to make sure I get it correct. Can't screw around w/ brakes.

    Thanks for the info. I never heard of that kind of flare. I was only familiar w/ the double flare. Im sure a lot of others have'nt either. Anyway, appreciate ur Cluing me/us IN.

    Indeed. Your Explorer rear disc article is the reason I learned how to do a bubble flare.
