Need help!! my AOD lost 4th gear.. plz read!!

    this if i orders these... this is all i need to rebuild the 91 AOD?

    Richard,
    I doubt that any one kit will have everything you need but the kit from broader is probably the best.
    Do you have the tools and expertise to do the build?

    You can rebuild a AOD with snap ring pliers, regular screwdriver, 8mm, 10mm, and 13mm sockets. Another good thing about The AOD is the majority of the questions On the ASE A2 test are based on it.

    To keep from cutting the lip seals used on the clutch apply pistons you need to have the installers. You also need a dial indicator and beam to set the intermediate clutch end-play. Then there are the bushing pushers and dial indicator set-up for setting the over-all end play.
    You may be able to replace the clutches and bands with that list of tools but you would never rebuild an AOD for me or my customers without the correct tools.

    That's a good thing, because I would never rebuild a trans for you or your coustomers. But for my own car I have no problem.

    lol.. yes I have the toold needed, our family bussines auto repair shop shut down last year. still have everything
