Need pictures ASAP...

    I think I will just make a plate with the holes that bolt to the frame, cut off the old pivot and weld it to the new plate in the correct position...did that make sense?? It's hidden pretty well so it wont have to be to pretty, just strong.

    I really appreciate the info from everyone....I can stop pulling my hair out now and get on with the fix.

    I would just weld up the original holes ... take a piece of flat iron the same thickness and extend the mount down and drill new holes ...

    Sure, bring that up. I was just getting depressed over the situation and can't be held responsible for my words.....

    Its kinda strange, but of all my Mavs (4) that have been driveable none has ever been an automatic. I cant think of one that I have ever driven that was an AT.....
