Sooo, does that mean they fit the cars with the mating chrome trim or without the mating chrome trim?

The corner appears to be curved? the cars that have trim infront of the boomerangs need a straight edge boomerang correct? are they making both or what? I do remember seeing some discusion on the subject.

There are two different types of boomerangs. One for cars with the trim below the window (has squared off edges), and one for the cars without trim (rounded edges). The pictures Ray posted are the latter.

    Hey Joe,

Alot of Mavericks/Comets have the chrome trim that runs under the quarter window. They did not have to be LDO to have it, also there was no such thing as a deluxe chrome package. I would think there's alot of us with the trim, so we need boomerangs to accomodate that.

    Thanks

We will be happy to produce them,,, We need an Idea how many need them,, I know a couple people have said they do,,, Has to be more then 3 sets needed, Tooling for Un-Chromed Boomerangs is more then $2,000. So we really need a number on these,,, I am hoping after we make our Chrome run on Boomerangs,,,, we can have the tooling changed to make the Squared off version,,, :Handshake

    Thank You

So when you run the chrome parts the chrome is already on the part
as it comes out of the mold for the boomerangs? Just curious here.

I'd be interested in the squared off version. I would think that the squared version would be a more universal part that would look just as good with or without the chrome trim.

The part is made from a composit that is Chromed, we have to heat and form with a 2 part tool,, when the part is cool it is released, and has a protective cover that you peel off after you install it,, like a thin protective film,,:thumbs2: The process is very cool to see,, but the tool temp has to be rite on or the part fails inspection,,

I was wondering if you had to have them chromed after molding. I know
it added an additional tool, put that is sweet they have the film already applied to protect the chrome. Nice.
