New Car club (please read)

I think that is a great idea....I wish there was a way for all parties to have an open forum with everyone there.

*I will be more than glad to PM you....I just do not want anyone to think that I am bashing the MCCI...as mentioned earlier....GREATEST members any car club could ever have!

It's not you John. It's Lance. Most of us are associating him with this new group and he's not been a good influence to me (and others) as far as giving you or the MCG a fair shot. I haven't heard you say anything until this thread. Lance has been the spokesman, unofficial or not, and he's not the best choice to vocalize your cause.

Again, this announcement was made sooner than maybe it should have been. I was just wanting to put all rumors to rest.

You are 100 percent wrong the fact of me running anything. I have already admitted I wasn't a leader of men. I know my limitations. My time as Moderator for this site taught me that much. Nobody is making any body choose. Limos aren't rolling up filled with "Mafia types " and laying the smack down with tommy guns..... and making anybody join one club or another. It is a free country, people will do as they may within the limitations of the law. I know of no laws permitting the actions taken by the MCG be they HOLY or laws of this land. I am a very PROUD member of the MCG. I have to much responsibility in my life now to run anything, and I am not one to sherk those responsibilites.

The MCG will be successful whether there are 100 members or 10. The reason why? The guys that are participating want to. Get my drift:Handshake

 

Lance, you don't have to have a title to be an influence. Until today, all the publicly said remarks about a new club, were coming from you. What were those of us on the outside to think?

I have told you many times in PM's I think you are a very wise man. I want this new club because the MCCI doesn't fit my style. So of course I am going to help promote it and help grow it to fruition. Some may have personal grudges with me and I'm ok with that. I got broad shoulders and now my back is healing I can handle the load alot easier . People's true colors come out in the end.

 

Here is a little "snib-it" from the MCG blog....this was written up probably 2-3 weeks ago...there has been a few to read it so if my honesty or character is in judgement as to whether I just wrote it or not....I would ask that those that have seen this feel free to speak-up

Can I be affiliated with other car clubs:

The MCG encourages its member to be a part of any and all clubs and organization that he/she choses. With the government trying to destroy these “dinosaurs” it will only help our hobby by showing support of as many clubs and organizations as each MCGmember chooses.

John, If I had seen that on this forum, I would have altered a couple of remarks.

I am compelled to say that if all this suff about MCG had been up front and made known to all (hard to do when in the planning stages), there would be different perceptions. The problem is that all leaks about the club did not come from you. If you had been the main spokesman, I may have a different attitude.

John had in his Signature MCG coming soon long before I started promoting the MCG. The Maverick Mafia is and always has been my idea. John knows me well enough outside this board to know my personality. Let me take a minute to introduce myself. Lets see I donate every year to the red cross, I am a fully recovered drug addict and help counsel those in similiar situations, I fix poor peoples cars for free because I want to help my fellow man. I like ATVIng, Camping, Mavericks, Mavericks and Mavericks. Whatever happend to Jusge not least ye be judged yourself. I made a few thoughtless comments on this site. I'm not losing any sleep over it. If you and others want to judge me on those particuliars than so be it. I know in my heart I am a good person and I bet the big guy in the sky does too
