I just gave the headers back to Jay this morning so I can't take more pictures...sorry. I was focusing on the manual tranny fit because the other cases have already been tested to fit OK. I'm sure Jay can take more pictures. The headers are awesome...thanks Jamie for making them.

Also, for those that want to reverse them for Turbo use (you know who you are), they won't fit on the drivers side by about 2".

I have some good pics of the driver side prototype on the car. Email your addy and I will send them to you. For some reason I resize my photos to the traditional 600X450 and it tells me the file size is too large:huh: . This goes for everyone else that would like to see different angles. I have lots of photos as this project has been well documented. Fire away(y) . jmmr221122@aol.com .

A special thanks to Jayman and Erick for all your effort!!!!!

Yes. You will have to lift the motor up approx. 2" on each side though. Thats pretty much standard with any header on these cars. Piece of cake.

But several of us have 4 speeds. I like the fact that the header goes under the z-bar instead of surrounding it. It's a pain the the butt putting my z-bar on or off. I'll be ready for a set of these after they've been tweaked. Lookin great Jamie :)

Is there not 1 owner of a windsor powered MAV in SoCal that is interested enough to support a test fit? :(

    Ya, what he said:cool: .

I have an apb out on the elusive 351w powered Mav/Comet...

    Out of curiosity 351w guys...

How did you install your 351w?

Did you use the orignal mounts?

What other mods did you do? (besides cutting shock towers)

What he said!!! I will be happy to bring these to you for a test fit. All I ask is that you be ready to install them when I get there. :D Gas gets expensive but I am more than happy to facilitate a test fit in order to answer any questions about fit before you buy.

I have not put my windsor in yet so I have not bought headers yet. I planned on using the factory 302 mounts, and cutting the towers. I have an automatic and a B&M floor shifter is going in. I have power steering, manual brakes, and no A/C.

    Jamie,

When I get done fabbing up the 1 and 3/4 inch long tubes on my brothers mave, would you be interested in using them as a pattern?
