I finally found some today, must take longer to get to New Mexico. Found three locally today, all had "Grabber" label and good stripes. It's been fun following the Hot Wheels Maverick Search saga.

Well, I was afraid you guys would laugh when I said I bought 28 of them while I am out here in Oklahoma, one from the Yukon store, 1 from the one out near the Quail Springs Mall and 12 from the store near Reno and McArthur at I40, and back to that same store 2 days later and bought 14 more they just put out. Grand total of 28. Now I have to check stripes and logos....

Now since I posted this AFTER Yellow 75 said he has 36 I don't feel so crazy, yeah right!

    added:
Some OK stripes in the 12 lot, mostly bad stripes in the 14 lot and all 28 have Grabber and Maverick. Did notice some are more Orange and some are more Yellow.

Well I am crazy I stopped at 2 stores on the way back from a rained out drag strip day and got a few more, my count of 71 Grabbers is now up to 60. I am going to quit now.

The stores I have been finding them in have a cardboard display and have just been loaded with them 20 at one store.

After a bit if people are still not able to find any I will sell them some at cost plus shipping that was my intention on getting all I could find :Handshake

Car #44 of 44 is a '67 Chevelle that was a Maroon color for the first two months, and is now out as a Gold color. Rumor that maybe the Maverick might show up in another color was well??? :bouncy:

If you don't find one soon, let me know and I'll send you one. Just don't tell Ray, his car is sitting here on my desk, for many months now.
