Hello all. I am a new Maverick owner living in Lancaster, CA. My history with cars has been mainly foxbody Mustangs but I have LOVED the Mavericks and early 60s Falcons for a long time. I was finally able to aquire a Maverick that is in semi decent condition and ready for me to do what I want with it. I look forward to all the knowledge and sharing that gets passed around on these old school auto forums. Here are a few pics to keep you entertained.

It is definitely pretty bare. The plan is to make it a barely street-able drag car. Want to be able to cruise it through town if I want (windows down and exhaust for radio, of course) but still bang out a comfortable 9 second quarter. I have had a 351w and AOD combo that I built for about 3 years now and figured it was time to put it into something. Might eventually turn this into a pure strip car and get a second as my street car. Not sure yet though.
