I find it hard to believe you are going through all this work and design only to sell your Comet. I agree with Cometized, most people would not have had the fortitude to resurrect that car. Regardless you saved a Comet; that my friend is what this website is all about.

Once it is complete, I believe you will keep it!!!!
Welcome to the forum from northeast Ohio!!!!! :chirp:

Thanks Everyone. I am concerned with finishing this car and wanting to keep it haha. I have a new problem maybe someone on here can help with. The back seat went through a horrific and long restoration and is now covered in black ulgahide fabric(sorry for the misspelling) which is basically a stronger vinyl from my understanding. Now I am looking at redoing the front seat I would want to do in the same fabric. I know that the burlap and springs are all in great shape since the seat itself only has minimal rips. Does anyone have a pattern or something to make this easier? I know the way it had to be done with the back seat is the seat had to be dissected in order to make a pattern to use for the new fabric. I'm down to this seat and trying to make my own door panels and my car will be road ready!! Any information will be helpful. I attached the front seat to show what I am dealing with.

since you already have the seat you have the pattern. someone elses pattern may not fit your car there pattern is from a seat thats been sat on for 40+ years the same as yours and maybe the person sitting on that seat was a big person and maybe the person that had your car was a 90lb lil ol lady the pattern will change.
the direction and design of the thread wont change but the measurements might. I would use what I have already if I was you

Hey everyone here is my updated pictures looks like all I need is an ash tray, heater controls, black door panels, passenger side small window rubber trim passenger side window rubber trim and driver side window rubber. The rubber I'm specifically talking about is in the door itself(you can see it in the picture showing the dash)

Yeah I had it, I was just making myself worry without reason. One thing I noticed that I thought was odd is the location of the stereo. Normally I thought it was lower than where mine is.
