You can partially see it - might it be a C9FE lurking behind the plug wire?

I hope he comes back with more info ………….

This one too - according to this web site
    http://www.mustangtek.com/Intake/C9FE-9424-E.html

Found this too from the Boss guide:

The original assembly line intake manifolds are aluminum with some slight blue overspray on the front and backside from when the engine was painted. Two engineering number versions exist, which are a C9ZE9424-E or a C9FE9424-E. The underside of the intake has a casting that says “BUDDY BAR”. Date codes (when present) are on the front next to the engineering number.

Welcome from Portland OR. That dust looks like paint jail dust. What a cool find.

I will post some more pics. I purchased the car from a body shop where it had been sitting for 25 to thirty years, the car has no rust and he had most of the parts, I was surprised. The car had been disassembled, painted and never reassembled. I have reupholstered the seats installed door panels installed carpet all chrome and doors and door hardware. The car is now running well although I had a lot of trouble figuring out why the oil pressure was only about 15lbs at idle. The car now have 80 psi at idle cold. I will answer any questions. I was told the car belonged to Windell Scott but cannot prove it so to me it was not.
