Well, all of you are welcome to Rio de Janeiro. In november there will be a big meeting of antique cars, and will be there many Mavericks. In december we will make a ride to a highland near from here, a town called Petrópolis, and we will eat a amazing barbecue there. Hehehe.
Alfredo, please be certain to take many photos for us. If we can't make it, at least we can enjoy the cars also. Keep us updated. Thanks, Ray
Anybody ever bought something from the Brazil Ebay? Is it possible to also get the chrome for the lights?
I haven't and I've never even thought about checking it out until you mentioned it. I went there and they have a LOT of Maverick stuff available such as this factory console. I'd like to have this baby. Check it out: http://www.mercadolivre.com.br/jm/item?site=MLB&id=20226031 I used a translation service to make it readable. You can put the entire webpage in. Translate it from Portugese to English: http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/tr This is just too cool!!!
Hi Jerry, I din't understand what do you want? The lights have not chromed frame. It fit's like the picture.
Hi Ray, here in Brazil there are a very search for maverick's parts and any factorys that in the 70's manufactured parts for mavericks are now manufacturing again because of the search and we have now very much news. In april 2005 there will be a very amazing meet in São Paulo state, in the city of "Águas de Lindóia" and there are a very big market of parts that you can find anything you want, like this emblem. Hehehe. http://www.mercadolivre.com.br/jm/item?site=MLB&id=19956834
hey thats some really cool stuff you posted! i think the spedo is cool too in kilometers and that tach is way cool! do any of your friends have station wagons?
All I can say is WOW!!! you are doing very well on your english also. That is one nice car Alfredo. And that garage is nice also. It seems like every maverick I see from down there is great looking, you guys do your cars right Jean Doll, it looks as though we might have to ask them some questions the way thier cars look.
Well, there were made only 120 stations in Brazil, and it's very rare to find anybody that have one. Exists one near from my house and anyday I will take a picture of it for you. But it's very rusted and badly conserved.
