I'm starting the build of a 351C for my son's Cougar so I have a couple dozen questions for you Pro Stock:

Where did you source the NASCAR crank and rods?

What kind of fuel are you using for 13.5:1 CR with iron heads?

    What pistons are you using?

Had to cut 150 off the crank so the piston would clear

I am surprised how much low end this motor has when I took it to the track I left at 1100 rpms and only shifted it at 6500 I shirted in to 3rd 100' before the finish line in the 1/8 so it's got a lot more in her working this week getting it to hook up and go from there

Oh brother talk about a tight fit... You can turn a wrench my friend! Where to you find the shoe horn to get that bad boy down in there ;-) You now have a lot more motor than rear, a 9 inch and lower gears would do you a lot of good.
    Good luck and keep racing!

They actually say that a Cleveland works better than a Windsor because the exhaust ports tilt lower for a better fit.Through the years there have been quite a few racers with 351c engines in these cars,& they have won a lot too,Rickey Smith comes to mind.
