The new oil pan arrived yesterday, and my chief inspector had to check it out to make sure it was good to go lol. Had to get a 7 qt pan because the oil pressure was steadily dropping during a run, then going back up after getting out of the gas and letting it settle a few seconds. Pan was apparently being pumped dry, and had to wait for the oil to drain back down before being picked back up by the pump. It's always something. CantonPan.jpg

Did the chief put his approval on it?

There is some power to be found in the oiling system.

Lol...she really didn't say one word or another...she just checked it out, then took after a rabbit she saw in the bottom of the yard! I'll assume it's ok though :). Probably won't get it installed until next week. Currently have the car in the air on it's platforms. Just got the Calvert split-monoleaf springs installed finally...and am getting ready to set up the bars with the pre-load I run. Looking like rain this evening, so might not make it to the track until tomorrow. Would sure like to go both nights though! I'll report back after test passes.

How did the pan work out Maxx? I have the AJE front end as well and am looking for a fox rear sump pan that has decent ground clearance.
