I was looking on Summits site yesterday at a part...shipping date...08/26/21. called another supplier and they had 3 in stock, should be here tomorrow.
so it pays to shop around for parts.

What pump you plan to use? Why not go w/ this setup from the suspension conversion?

the conversion rack was manual steering. I changed it over to a Thunderbird power rack w/GM style pump. the rack started acting stupid like...going forward and turn it to the left it would growl as soon as you start turning.
turning right...no growl. backing up...no growl turning left/right....just forward turning left...I could hear it inside the car but not outside...:slap:

Very strange, only growling fwd/left turning; seems it would growl turning left going either direction. I thought you had changed to pwr rack, wasn't sure. Was previous T-Bird rack same as new one? If not, what mods need to get it hooked up?

he said if the GM pump puts out too many PSI I will need a PSI reducer valve. I bought one for the other rack but didn't use it so I have one if needed.
