    Thanks for the comments

I really appreciate the comments. I worked really hard to get the car where it is, and as we all know, it's never QUITE finished.

To answer (or try) some of the questions:

1Badmav- I don't know what brand of headers they are, I bought them from Robert Raney, they were on a maverick that he had. I sanded them down at school, and painted them with the 1500* header paint (black). They fit good, and I modified my shift linkage, and maintained the auto on the column. Oh, they are long-tubes. As for the sleeper, it's the look only;) When I crank up, it can no longer be classified as a sleeper.:D Between the cam loping, and the exhaust thundering, I turn a LOT of heads:bananaman  As for the hubcaps, they were on the mav. when I bought it, and I think that they are Tempo hubcaps. Looks kinda neat I guess. But, then again, I'm a bit prejudiced:rolleyes: Hopefully I'll get the valve covers this week and get them on next weekend. We'll see. I'm also in the process of getting some better quality pictures. Thanks ya'll and keep it coming. Take Care, Preston (Country Mav)

    Well, not yet...

No 4 bbl. yet. You see, I'm in college, and gas is high here. With 2 bbl and stock 3.00 gears, I can get 22+ mpg. Not bad huh? Future plans do include a 4 bbl. intake and carb. (Edelbrock intake and 600cfm Edelbrock carb). Another issue is that these two things cost money! :p ;) I will put them on though. The engine could really use some more groceries (gas). I still have a lot of power with the 2bbl, but a 4 bbl. will come.
:D Ya'll take care, Preston (Country)

Oh, BTW - If anybody has a used 4 bbl intake or carb, I might be interested sometime soon. 'preciate it. Country

Country; I have a used Edelbrock carb, with a new in blister wrap electric choke kit, that I will part with. You will probably need to rebuild the carb. If interested, let me know.
