    My '72 has the exact same thing just hanging loose. No way in hell my car had a factory floor shift. I dunno what it is. I just figgured it must be another one of them odd ball California only things. None of my other Mavericks have it. The early '72 I looked at in the Pull-A-Part didn't have it either.

    Dan according to the Marti report this 72 grabber was a factory 3 speed in the floor.

    Its about to have a Hurst pro matic 2 shifter in it....althought I would rather have a B&M Z GATE...but I already had the hurst..:D

    Well its sunday mornin and I am draggin bad, lol...didn't sleep well last night. I was gonna do some sanding in the engine bay today but I think I'm gonna let it rest til tommorrow, if I can get my wife out of my lazy boy...lol
