Just checked price AND shipping for Melvin's and Mustangs Unlimited. They both sell for $199 but MU has free shipping whereas Melvin's wants $29 to ship.

Just ordered one from Mustangs Unlimited. They have a special price right now where they knocked $4 off. We'll see how it fits. Since I now ordered one the price will probably go down to $175 next week...

Hi. I realize this is an older post but I am getting ready to order a rear valance and looking for some advice. I have a 70' Mav. What is the best way to remove/install all of the upper mounting screws on the valance, beings they are tucked up under the bumper ?

Remove the bumper to get to the screws

To elaborate a little further .... four bolts inside the trunk attach to the mounts. Don't try to remove the bumper from the mount while attached to the car. I would soak the bolts and the screws for the valance with some penetrating oil for a day prior too to loosen them up a bit. They have probably been together for a long time and being in PA, likely a bit rusty.

My valance showed up a few weeks ago, haven't had a chance to check the fit yet. Paint is getting ridiculous. almost $70 for a pint of base coat and a pint of clear.

Thanks! Seems so simple now that I see the four bolts in the trunk! (y)
