Hi everyone! I need a new starter for m'y 73' Mav, 302, automatic transmission, engine has been modified. I've found many on the web, but how can I be sure to get one it will fit right? I'd like to buy a powerfull one but not to expensive. Thank you for your help.
I was going to suggest you just go to your local auto parts store, but then I saw where you were from.
Be certain that the person you deal with knows and understands that the starters are different for an automatic and a standard shift trans. Then be certain you get one for an automatic. If the seller tells you there is no difference, find another seller. Good luck!!!
