I agree w/ Hotrock! I see thousand just on the interior, not counting replacing floor pans. We don't know what the frame rails look like, they may be questionable. Judging from the pic's, seats, dash, steering wheel and carpet are definite replace/repair items. We are not including the stuff we can't see -- which is surely there.
I wud consider selling that one, and moving to something in much better shape -- even at 4 times the initial cost -- your miles ahead of the game.... jmo

From the pictures....looks like the car may have possibly been under water or in a flood. Check for that.

Welcome to the forum. Nice family you have. Lot's of cleaning to do. I'd throw out the steering wheel and get a Grant wheel. Then after cleaning the interior I'd get some Meguires's wax with their slight cutting coumpond and try clean the oxidation off the exterior paint, then a good coating of wax. That will help keep you motivated to work on the rest! Good luck!

    :)

I washed the car the other day and the red coloring came off mostly thats reason why it looks so red it's because the guy lived on a red clay Road. The original color was like a golden tan look more like a brown to me

:Welcome: from Atlantic Canada! Looks like you've got some work ahead of you! I'm sure it looks a lot better after some pressure-washing. Lots of red clay cars on Prince Edward Island, near where I live, so I know what you're dealing with!
