If you traded the Mav even you came out good on that deal..... The early Stangs just bring more money the the Mav's do.....
Reminds me of that show where you trade up lol.. Looks like a decent score. My wish to you is little to no rust
Yes, the 66 is set up for a v8 3 speed. Might put the 302 in it, once I go pick it up. The 3 speed is still in it. The 66 already has disc brakes installed.
I think I did too. Ive been wanting a mustang again for awhile. Going to drive the 68, while Im fixing my maverick.
i had a 66 mustang it got stolen in houston, tx... i will always remember that car.. it was like 5-6 different colors but i still loved it
I love mustangs also. Been wanting to get another for awhile. Never thought I would end up with two of them. I am going to build the 66. It will be awhile though. Going to do a few things to the 68 just to spruce it up a bit. Then going to finish my maverick.
I am personally more fond of the camaros and early novas. Early Vettes. Nash cars. Etc. I never thought I would own a ford (now two of them). But I have to admit, the new one needs no work and is a blast to drive, the old one only needs work when I push it too hard and break something, and it is a blast to drive.
i like the early camaros too. Ive had a few of those over the years. I called on a couple of them before getting these, but were already gone.
I think the Mavs are WAY more interesting to work on. Few parts are available, and way more junk yard diving to find semi-usable fenders and hoods.,
Junk yard diving is enjoyable I have been doing that for many years. It will be nice knowing that if I cant find a part, I can just go buy it...... After all isnt that what were all hoping we could do with our mavericks?
