My wife has been complaining about not having enough room to open up her door in the garage which is a small but can fit 2 cars, but my its a metal car I dont want it to rust thing as ran its course... so I.decided I would put it in a spare room I got in my shop, well it rained last night and in shop too, probably wouldn't be so bad but it's raining right inside the cowl (which is not leaking at this time)... I've heard car covers are not good on any car, but I don't know....might have to take it back home and hear the complaining... 20141219_101626.jpg 20141219_101832.jpg

There is a cowl cover that can be used to cover the cowl if u can't take it home. I have one I keep in my trunk for just those occasions when I am out somewhere and it rains, or I leave the car outside overnite. The cover is magnetic and will even stay on @ highway speeds. It is probably best to use a "breathable" outdoor cover, if u have to leave it in that enviorment.
Finally, if resources not an issue; repair the shop roof - only get worse over time.

hang a tarp from the roof above the car to catch and rout the water to a bucket at the corner of the tarp.

I'll second the tarp idea .... that's how we camp down here in FL. Giant tarp hung over 2 or 3 tents ... makes the whole experience better when (not if) it rains.

You can elevate the tarp and pull it tight at the front of the car, and leave the back end a bit lower, with slack in the middle, and that would make it drain there by the door. Hopefully the slope in the floor should carry water out from there.

Another idea ... that Flex-Seal aerosol spray does work pretty well in some cases. Tracking the leak can be a challenge ... it is usually higher up than it may look at first glance.

Really like the color on your car.

The cowl cover is inexpensive, I love mine. Fixing the roof is the best way to go though.

I think the only realistic solution is repair the roof. The longer left to the elements, the more will cost to repair/replace as necessary. With all other ideas, water/dampness/moisture stills comes inside the building, doing damage to the car and other things. If I were not in position to fix roof, I wud take the car home -- and suffer the issues w/ other half. JMO
