    I have a 1976 Maverick Stallion, and 85 More Mavericks and Comets in Inventory.

    We are able to make the outside part of the lid,,, its the steer head that has to go thru Ford Licensing,,, Soon as we get a Proto type made,, we need aproval from Ford before we can actually market it,,, :thumbs2:,, Ford is not at all hard to deal with as long as the rules are followed,
    But yes it is some thing we are looking at reproducing,,:thumbs2:

    Mavericks actually had that,,, gas cap fastened to the car with wire rope,, in 69 and 70,,, Worked out great,,(y)

    There was a post (scroll down to #6) on here a while back talking about an anti-theft device (made for Mustangs) that required a small hole drilled through the rear lamp panel and a rod accessible only from inside the trunk that allowed the cap to be turned...
