Went to NSRA North this weekend, the weather was raining a lot on Friday arrived about 3:00pm had information from local rodders -- don't come early. Saturday proved to be a very nice day for any outside event. I counted more Mavericks/Comets this year than ever -- counted 5 Mavericks and my only 2 gen. Comet. The brown and the 4 door were from Chicagoland area. I hooked up w/ Bigdog41364 "Rich" for a short meet as he was scheduled to work that day.
It appeared attendance was off from some past years crowds -- I gauge by window pass numbers which I recall were around 1700 or so; IIRC I have seen past years in the 2K range, also, lots of vacant spaces in sections normally filled. Don't get me wrong -- plenty to see, more than we had time for at our ages and in one days time.
We had a great trip, no mechanically issues and safe travel on one of the most heavily travel freeways in the nation, I-94 through Gary, IN through Chicago to the Wisconsin border.
We hung-out with some local who invited the group of (4) , too there house for dinner w/ about 50 folks from NSRA show -- A Great Time Was Had By All!

We nomally arrive on Thursday, but had other obligations and sometime stay half day Sunday. Weather was raining on Friday & Sunday, we were lucky to get a great day Saturday. First time I went and didn't buy anything. Kalamazoo County Expo Center a great place to have a big event - if you can afford it.
    Some more pix!

It was good to see you again Everett. I was surprised to see how many of our cars there where this year. Last time I was there it was just my Mav and your Comet.

PS: my wife said you were sweet...lol
