    Is the motor fresh?
I get some steam / smoke from my valve cover vents but I don't even have 1k miles on the motor yet.

    Not good.
Have you replaced the intake manifold gasket yet? If its not the intake it's definitely a head gasket. Only a few ways radiator pressure gets to the heads....

yeh i did the intake manifold gasket a couple days ago. whether its that gasket or not i gotta take the intake off for a head gasket anyways so i might as well check the intake first

If you just replaced it I would guess its either the head gasket or if that doesn't look like the problem once you pull the heads its probably worth getting the heads checked by the shop ( if they are worth that to you ). I'm thinking a cracked head could cause you the same issue as well but I'm not completely sure since I've never had one crack on me.

okay thats not a bad idea. maybe if i pull the heads and the money comes up ill just get some gt40s or something. but if not i guess its worth to take it to a machine shop

If u can find a good deal on gt40's that would be a good swap. I found mine for around 300 with crane roller rockers. Swapped springs and seats and I was good to go.

i had some gt40ps originally. they were great heads but the odd plug angles killled it. there was no way these were gonna work with my headers. sold em and got the e7s... i hope that isn't the problem though. I'm crossing my fingers that i take my intake off and it blew right through. and if not i hope its the head gasket and not the head itself. and i really hope it isn't the block lol.

okay got it all together again and started it up. runs fine but it smokes a lot from the crankcase still. might be from the excess watery oil in the system because i haven't added coolant yet.
