    Howdy!

    Once again it is almost time for our annual Texas Mini-Meet!

    The 2011 Texas Mini-Meet will be held in conjunction with the 5th Annual CCC Car Show located at Current Christian Church in Katy, Texas on October 15, 2011. The show will run from 10-2pm and registration of cars will begin at 9am. The cost to enter your car will be $20 and it will include a t-shirt.

    Since it is our state meet, they have created a Maverick Class just for us!

    um, the Mav now sits gutted in the drive. New motor under a tarp, waiting for the daughter to get the engine compartment cleaned up for paint. Too many mods to get done by the show, I'm afraid. The 351w is going to be a bigger change than the 200-250 change :rofl2:
    Pray we don't miss anything. This needs to be done before she leaves for Air Force boot camp in November!
    Hate to miss the show.

    You can now pre-register for the show at CAR SHOW REGISTRATION and pay for it with PayPal.

    (It's going to be even better now that the temperatures have
    dropped).:thumbs2:

    Here are directions to the church off of Interstate 10:

    Address: 26600 Westheimer Parkway, Katy, TX 77494

    Directions From I-10 Westbound
    If you are westbound on I-10 take the Pin Oak exit #740 just past Katy Mills Mall.
    Turn left (south) on Pin Oak. Pin Oak becomes Westheimer Parkway.
    Current will be on the left approximately one mile from 1-10.

    Directions From 1-10 Eastbound
    If you are eastbound on I-10 take the Pin Oak exit #740. Turn right (south) on Pin Oak. Pin Oak becomes Westheimer Parkway.
    Current will be on the left approximately one mile from 1-10.

    Seriously thinking that a car show on one side of Houston, and a wedding on the other side is going to be pushing it too much for one day.

    We will likely have to back out of it this year. First one we have missed.

    I even showed up day after surgery (without the car) one year, and just made an appearance.

    Maybe we will stop by for an hour or two in Anna's Mustang to buy some hotdogs and say hi to everyone.

    Talked to ed (924 mav) today and he convinced us to show up for while in morning. Bringing mustang since mav is not legal right now. We will meet eddie phreeq in atascocita for breakfast and follow him in. He is bringing wife and kiddo this year.

    Ed fan2488 has a daughter moving and has to provide truck and muscle for her so he wont be coming.
