That's the problem. All magnum 500s are made by the same manufacturer now days. Ive called everyone and they all get them from the same place.

I may just have to go with something similar and be done with it. My tires are going to dry rot before they hit the road at this rate.

They're in! That took only 2 days. Now to put the 5 lug rear in...and rebuild my front with the 5 lug disc brakes. I have all the parts so maybe in a few weeks ill have them on the car.

Are those uni-lug? I would have thought they abandoned that setup years ago. They are a great wheel, hopefully the chrome is more durable than the originals.

Yes uni-lug. Just read a million articles on them. As long as the washers are carefully put on correctly and all lugs hand tightened first....then torqued....there shouldnt be a problem.

I had a set as a kid that were well used, what a nightmare it was to get those things lined up! No doubt they aren't as bad when they haven't been beat to death.

I consider myself the Cragar expert. Whatever you do.....use CRAGAR brand lug nuts and washers. Others are similar, but not the same.

Cragar lug nut on the left. Generic look-alike on the right. The taller lugnut is necessary so one doesn't scratch their wheels with the socket.

yes, but won't the washers prevent the socket from scratching?

I have the cragar lug nuts and washers ready to go. Can't wait to get these wheels on. Pretty sure in a few weeks I can have it done. Got a 5 lug rear I'm rebuilding and also have to rebuild the front suspension and get the 5 lug disc brakes on.
