Hey all again. Was a member way back in 2003 but can no longer remember which email was attached to my account. I'm from Ontario Canada. My Maverick is a 76 with the early 70 bumper conversion. Mild 306 with a slap shifter and 3.55 gears with an Auburn Locker. Bought seat rails for buckets many years ago but have never put them in. Car has basically been in storage for the last 6 or so years. My great grandfather bought the car brand new in 1976 from a dealership that no longet exists. Started a new job a couple months ago after being in the same line of work for 15 years. Now I'm in Georgia for my reset and I have been thinking about all those sweet Georgia Mavericks and I'm thinking with my new job I'm hoping to meet some members from different states whenever I'm on a reset. First time I have been in the states in 18 years so I'm hoping to get some encouragement to bring my car out of storage when spring summer hits next year in Ontario. I'm currently on reset in Jackson Georgia exit 201 truck stop. Told there are some good places to eat around here. I seem to recall food to be a weakness for certain Georgia members.
... I come through Jackson quite often, that's the back way from Summit. makes for a nice ride through the country. Jeff doesn't live far from there, I'm in Macon. Fresh Air BBQ is one place that is good eating. we had a meet there once.
I'm available all day today if anyone wants to go for BBQ then lol. I have only been doing this a few weeks and Dennys is good food and all but some selection would be great.
