    My car with me in it is now 2950 and should shead another 200 pounds...then we clean out the doors and glass for lexan!

    7.50 funny cage mild steel chassis strut car. Fiberglass front clip, hood, doors, and trunk lid. 2278 lbs empty on scales..... with driver me 2478 little woman a little lighter of course.... full of fuel 4 gal. 532 CI BBF and powerglide.

    i like the glass front ends. my buddy races a pro mod mav witha glass front clip. it has a 508 ford in it. the bumpers are molded in it and its 6 inches longer than stock

    Couple rust holes in these corners so cut them right out and welded in new one. One side done today other tomorrow. Been doing one side at a time and am also replacing some floor and adding in 2x3 from the frame to the rocker at your feet for the new cage.

    Looking really good, keep the pictures coming.
    We only have another 3 weeks before the drag strip opens for test/tune/inspections.............................I still have a lot to do between now and then.............are you going to be ready for opening day?

    I would say this thing should be wraped up in 2-3 weeks. We still have about 8 weeks to go before the tracks open around here. Still lots to do but will get it done. Just chassis work being done to Ricks car this year so its going to be cool to see what it picks up. I will post the days progress as I go. Did the back two years ago so we are cleaning things up from about the seats forward.
