Just go with a painted black top(matte or semi-gloss finish perhaps), thats what Im probably going to do so I wont have to worry about vinyl or future rust problems. I was about to post an opinion topic just like this because Im debating on just a painted black top. All depends on how youre going to accomplish making a painted top look good also, I havent figured that out yet with mine
