orange paint schemes

Here's some more orange...

It does sometimes, but it is a stock orange, competition orange by Sherwin Williams, which happens to be very similar to Hemi orange.

 

yeah i like it, but it did look red to me two but i believe you that it is oranger in person...i do like the hemi orange....how much did it cost u?

 

I think it is just that particular color Orange, it seems like it always photographs to look Red. I have seen a couple Mavericks and other cars that are about that color Orange and they always look red in the pictures.

here's a couple photos of my 1970 'Calypso Coral' or 'Home on the Orange' Maverick (same paint code).

I think this paint was mixed a bit on the orange side, but not too much (the original paint is on the cowl and doesn't stand out noticeably).

This color tends to look much redder in the shade.
