Paint to look like vinyl top.

    If you want a professional product, I would suggest body schultz. I have used this in the past although not for vinyl top look a like. If you ever look at some older cars like the Ferrari 308's, BMW's on the bottom part of the car they have a texture all the way around which is considered a chip guard. This stuff would work for your situation and is a professional product. It requires a special paint gun but its not expensive, I think I bought mine for around 25$. The gun also shoots more than just schultz paint, I was able to get the same looks using non-reduced urethane primer.

    It has been raining here and I have not had time to work on the Grabber. I need to buy material and tool for the job.

    I will keep the tread updated, but,I am very slow on projects.
