Painted my engine bay and some odds and ends

    Very nice, was it alot of tapeing to paint your light rings ? What kind of paint did you use on them ? Rick

    Its pretty easy Rick. Nice little job to sit down and have a drink or 2. I polished mine and scuffed the parts to go black with scotchbrite. then taped the edges with a 1/4" mask to get nice smooth lines. The tape I used is for tight details. Its not regular masking tape its like a blue vinyl. Body shop guys gave it to me to use. The paint on mine was the MarHyde trim black that I used on all my other black parts. High adhesion promoters and UV protection.
