I've learned the hard way the last two weekends about how much to cut the front springs to achieve proper stance. First of all I have 16 inch wheels, and a 302 no a/c. I had a set of both 6 cyl. and 8 cyl. springs to work with. Cut 2 rungs off the 6 cyl. springs and it slammed it to the stops. (Whooops too far) Cut 1 1/2 rungs off the 8 cyl springs and it put me right where I wanted to be. Learn from MY mistake and cut alittle off at a time until you get what your looking for. Once you cut them off you can't put them back. I know it's a pain to install and remove them so many times but you'll thank youself in the end.

    Thanks guys.

Dan------- I live in the city, hmmmm but I have been putting yard work off for a "little" to long now. My neighbor is a bigger "pig hound" than I am. Once spring arrives I will get it cleaned up over in that corner and take another pic. ;)

Also, I have a couple pics from ground level I will post as soon as my brother e-mails them to me.

Courier-----As far as 8 or 6 cyl. springs.....not sure, they look aweful punny to me, if I had to guess I would say they are 6 cyl. springs.

Todd---- Ward and I are both addressing the front bumper issue. He already has one waiting to be picked up and mine should be here in a week or two. :D

Country----- I have long tubes. Right now there is about 4 inches of clearance between the oil pan and the ground. It will be a little more with the front runners on there. If this was a daily driver I would not have it this low. But I am going to put a travel limiter on it...both ways. and I will just have to be careful when cruising....and has of right now it will never be on the interstate unless its on a trailer.

    Thanks again.

Dan, you will have to forgive John for he is a redneck from way back. He thinks "in da weeds" meant you were looking at his yard and the trailer was setting in the weeds. I'm trying to bring him up to date but he has a hard thick skull and it aint always easy:D :D :D :D

John, "in da weeds"; 1) to sit low :D :D :D

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    Damn! I am a redneck!
I also thought he was complimenting me on my "agricultural ability"......but my wife informed me he was making fun..........so I guess she is as bad as I am?

    :D :D :D :D :D

I don't think Dan was making fun of you, that would be politically incorrect for the vice pres of the famed MCCI to make fun of anyone:D :D :D

Todd, is wasn't that I didn't want your car to look different than mine, I just might have been tempted to steal your bumper, so better for you to take it off.:D :D

It will be a little taller than that with the other wheels on it....but not much.
