Thanks! I'll have to keep installing washer parts (the jug in particular) just to cover the runs!

Thanks !! Yes, I sprayed the POR-15 and the Chassis Coat. The POR-15 I thinned using about 1/4 cup of POR Solvent to a quart of paint. The Chassis Coat was thicker, so I used 1/2 cup (plus a tiny little more) POR Solvent. I used a HVLP gun and sprayed at 25 psi at the gun.

I went out to the garage last night and threw some small parts in the blasting cabinet, and was able to throw some paint on them. I'm starting to get "itchy" for installing parts!!!

Sorry for the crappy cell-phone pictures (wife was out with the camera )...

Added some more parts to the "blasted and painted" pile!

Also managed to install the upper and lower control arms and roller spring perches.

My two kids were helping me install stuff, so I let them at the voltage regulator and the coveted battery J-bolt bracket... :D

Thanks Mel! I used "00" sand to blast the front of the car. I washed/wiped down the black with lacquer thinner first, and that took most of it off. I did struggle with a wire cup on a grinder for a while too. I did it all in my driveway, which took hours and hours on end. I was nervous to just 'send it out', because I am trying (foolishly??? IDK) to preserve the original yellow paint on the car. I just didn't trust "Joe-Sandblaster" to not strip the whole car...

Even THIS car didn't have it!! This actually came from another car I had back in the late 90's. I haven't seen too many of them survive, most likely due to 99.9% of technicians over the years not giving a crap if it made it back onto the car during a battery installation. It's just one of those tiny pieces that makes me happy inside everytime I look at it. :D

Thank You, Gene! I'm trying REALLY hard to save you the trouble of announcing the 2nd Anniversary... :nailbiting:
