So after looking (my wife would call it 'whining') for a set of bucket seats for my car, I made a small trip (1,500 km) to a fellow board member's place and picked up these beauties!! I have plans to strip them this winter, paint the frames and tracks and then eventually get a set of covers from Fred.

The 'Fred' that Paul is referring to is Fred Carillo. His screen name on here is fmc56. He does recover the seats like the originals. He did the complete bucket seats and rear seat for my '72 Grabber a couple of years ago in black. He does really nice work.

Put new foam in the budget, and a word to the wise get the best foam. If you look on NPD website you will see two choices for 71/73 mustang foam, get the better one well worth the money...

SO, I obviously haven't been on here in a really long time. Looking at my last post in here, I did get the seat tracks blasted and painted, and bought new bucket seat foams, but I haven't progressed much more on the seats.

In other news, I did however, secure a complete driveline from a friend's V8 Maverick here in town for an offer I couldn't refuse.

I bought the drivetrain back in 2019 and over the last couple of years picked away at it and finally finished/installed it in Fall of 2023. A few hiccups along the way, but overall I'm happy with the outcome.
