I made custom brackets. Welded them to the rail, and bolted the sway-bar brackets to those using 3/8" grade-8 bolts.

Threw those lame U-bolts in the trash.

I welded in a plate with 2 nuts welded to the backside so the bracket is removable. It really needs a longer link so they can move a little more but the way they bent the bar, the link end would hang too low.

I haven't looked at the calendar lately.. but I think we went past "next week".. again. Has me wondering what John will say "this week".. about "next week".

Sheesh.. it's kinda like the old.. "who's on first".. bit with these guys. If I were trying to continuously lead guys on after they've paid for their parts?.. I'd have probably moved on to something like.. "should be done by next month". :slap:

They should be boxed and on their way by this point, with a letter of apology and a box of chocolate chip cookies.

pfft.. I want a rear bar thrown in to ease the pain and suffering! At least they stock that one and it won't take a year.

Ok.. soooo, you're also jumping on the "next week" bandwagon too? :biglaugh:

2 weeks tops and I'm calling for my refund unless they give me a tracking number right over the phone.

Oh, and BTW.. thy may as well just send the bars out unpainted so we can better prepare and paint them ourselves so they'll last more than a year. Now.. I'm definitely pickier than most due to being a career paint contractor.. but I've seriously seen better work from pre-schooler finger paintings. Some area's of the 2 bars I received aren't even completely covered. :16suspect That junk's coming off and I'll do it my danged self.

I think this ordeal is rediculous with all the ongoing dilemmas..

If anyone still needs or bar theirs a place like a block away from these boneheads and a 1 off will be cheaper then this group buy..and obviously a groupbuy will be even more cheaper
got quote a while ago, just havent pursued as of yet

    I sent John this:

    John,
You guys are getting beaten up on the forum:
    http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=91704&page=20

    Any updates?

    Micah

    And the response;

They are in the production queue behind Whiteline, Dorman, etc. Pete says he can put them into production the end of next week.

So, it sounds like they have yet to even bend them. I dont know how we could be behind anyone in the production line.

    Micah

(Damn, that was the 401st reply to this thread)

Who cares if they are getting beaten up? They suck at what they do, and their product is cheaply finished garbage.

I pointed it out to them in the hope that they would give a $*#! about their reputation and do something. Apparently, it had no effect.

I think, we should all just get our money back, then that might open their eyes.

i doubt we have much chance of getting out money back. i think its been to long to have credit card charges reversed. addco definitely doesnt seem to care about customer service either.
i would like to think im wrong and that a representative from addco will read this and prove me so.
the best im hoping for is the new non adjustable sway bar will fit and work well for my cars.
