That's why you carry points & a condenser. Just in case. Then you're on your way, in about 15 minutes.

I like the last picture also....

I asked on here before how long these pertronics last, I have had mine on at least 8 years because I moved 8 years ago and I was living at my other house when I changed it. I drove it to work this morning and motor kicks off so fast you can't hardly get off the starter fast enough. I still carry a set of points and condencer but they would only be used until I could get home to buy another pertronics, (y)

    Ok, now the laughing begins...

I will have these chromed and the eyes diped in something rubberized, maybe.
And I decided to leave the coil there.

that is a pretty ingenious idea, and i agree you might want to dip them in to something rubbery, but it diffenitly makes the wires look clean...i noticed you have your headers socked.

It's been a busy 6 months for me so not much progress has occured.
I finally got my wire holders back from the powder coater...not as I hoped for. I wanted chrome and he did them in silver. I put them on anyway cause I am tired of waiting...so many small details and nothing seems to be getting completed.:(

Those wire looms are pretty cool. Do they go completely around the valve cover, kinda like a spacer?

Wire looms look good. Does the car still drive straight with the shock towers that banged up?

No Scott, they are simple plates that bolt to the studs used on the covers. I had posted them in my gallery. (the studs)

Jamie, the car felt ok when I used to drive it...It's been a long time since. I have had the whole suspension off since the last time it was driven. I wish I would have found this site before I had put my drive train back in...I would have shaved the towers. At this point I just want to finish everything else and drive it again someday.

    Lee's friend...Gene
