My camera still has the 367 Roundup pictures I took last week, but I haven't had time to unload them:

I dropped off Dale at the airport this morning and then proceeded to drive to Houston to take wedding pictures. I just got back from Houston and too tired to do anything. On top of everything else, tomorrow I have jury duty, of all things. I may be a zombie tomorrow, but I'll just remind myself what a great time I had with some of the greatest people in the world!:)

Got home around 4pm yesterday. Was a fantastic time as usual. I want to thank our hosts, LauraLee and Doug. They are the best. I already miss all my old friends and was very glad to meet a bunch of new ones. Cant wait to go back to Texas next year.

Well, 3 years ago when Doug first proposed a Texas Roundup he was out voted by those board members (not me) who wanted it in Dearborn instead. He was promised he could have the Texas Roundups after the 2 in Dearborn. I know Doug is more than anxious for another Texas Roundup. Since 2 years in a row was the norm when all these promises were made, I see no reason why it shouldn't be there. It would be pretty dishonest to go somewhere else.

I think it all comes down to what the numbers are, and what other proposals are on the table. It's too early to say anything definate, yet.

It should never be about numbers. Its about giving opportunities to reach as many people as possible to experience a Roundup, and keeping promises.

I like this attitude! I was able to hit the one in Owensboro in 06 ONLY because the wife and I were passing nearby on our way to a family reunion in PA.

Most of us can't just load up a car and take off for a week and travel cross-country, so I like the idea of it getting around so everyone can get a taste of it.
