Here's my Idea 351w forged pistons, nitrous cam, single plane intake, alky carb,2 stage nitrous plumed under the intake, stealth style,5lb bottles hidden in the doors, on the first pass run heads up. hopefully we win. scound run give him a few links then run him down with the first shot of nitrous only. third run go for the kill full nitrous giv him a few more links then blow there doors of or the hood off the mav. either way we as the maverick community win

 

Where you at in ga? Sounds killer. we just need more interest. That kind of setup will cost some change!

 

You guys better get in touch with the show before you go to far in your planning. You might want to find some Chevy guys to do the same thing with a Vega.

IM trying to figure out how to do this. Usually thay all complain about not having enough tim to build the car. But i dont want to say i'll be on the show and have car parts in ten states.If we can get more interest and participation Or least people willing to help lined up i'll procede.

have a welder, full machine shop, body shop, and can make just about anything if I cant make I feel certain I know somenone that can..this is a way we can show our strenght and show what being a mavericker is all about.

 

i got one question, if this maverick loses, oh well. we'll have to steal it back.

This is one 'ol fart that is of the firm that belief that this is the quintessential exercise in futility.

However, having said that, I do remember being young, stupid, full of confidence, immortal, and cocky...but not necessarily in that order.

I hope you pull it off. I wont see it though, I gave up on that show. Too much hype, not enough action.
