I'll keep that in mind Gene, the big project is dependant on selling my AOD first. just a couple small things to do in the meantime. Also congrats on the New Best time. You are really pushing that little motor down the track, I thinks its so cool to do that with a 6.

Yeah its getting closer, I made about ten steps forward 4 back over the holidays. I through the old t-5 setup on the shelf switching over to a cable setup now, I have most the parts rounded up I just need a starter, alternator, backing plate, and radiator hoses.

1 solid weekend worth of work and I will bring the car back down to Phoenix to finish up the odds and ends. So I'm probably 5 working days away from completion.

It won't be pretty but it will be there (prob with temp tags LOL) I'm cutting it close.

    My list until driveable..........
cut front springs to ride heigth
    install transmission and bell housing
install clutch cable and quadrant setup
    install ring and pinion
    install 1 rear leaf spring
    weld up seat brackets/install
    electric fans
    rad hoses
    starter
    alternator
    wiring
    allignment

Really wish I had about another 2 months for body work and paint, it will be the ugliest there LOL

Being the ugliest one there is better than not being there at all. You could probably push it there from your house anyways.

Way to go Gene! I was going to go out to Speedworld this weekend but I was worried that the track was going to be too cold and there wouldn't be any traction. It was better that I stayed home and worked on the beast anyhow. See how dedicated I am guys? A 10 minute drive and I could have spent the day watching racing instead of wrenching.

You aren't that good of a watcher Tony. Did you get the MCG newsletter?

I need to change my rear end in the 70. I'm hesitating removing the one from the 73 as I may need it to roll on a moments notice. Just talked to the guy whos going to work on Ruth's Comet and It's next in line to go into his shop. Also want to take the seats in to be reupholstered and get new carpet. I have high back Grabber seats for it. Then the front discs and a new engine. Trying to do this before the Gathering. :)

And the real problemis I'm old and lazy.:)

I like the silver and black 3d effect on the steer horns. Is that a sample sewn onto something or is that going to be the actual blue background of the patch? I like the blue but didn't know if the patch was going to stop at the black outline or what.

Rick if you emailed me about it after I responded earlier I didnt get it yet, i replied from my work email and then bailed.

I think these patches will be just about the size of those rectangle refridgerator magnets you get free from companies. I am going to glue mine to one of those and stick to my dashboard, atleast until the next Maverick Jacket deal comes along.
