Yes, I was able to come to an agreement with the seller earlier today. First time buying a Maverick that is not a full project and building it myself. Planning on driving from Santa Barbara to Seattle area next weekend. Wish me luck.

Did the high bidder end up not following through? Congrats on the purchase, I'm sure everyone would like to know what it sold for - pulse of the market.

Why is it that the 75 Maverick is so hard to find ? Am I not looking in the right area ?

Looks like a good setup. But it also looks like it needs some serious TLC. Personally, I'd have the power train rebuilt just looking at the pics, leaks everywhere.
There is some very good parts on there and it looks well engineered.

unfortunately I had to say no after seeing the car in person. Drove my truck and trailer down from Seattle had bank check in hand but wasn't to my expectations. My search continues

Seems like that must be the trend with this car. What kind of issues aren't apparent in the photos?

It does look like a nice car, but I seen a couple of red flags in the pictures that leads me to believe it’s not worth the $$ he’s trying to get.

The car has a lot of great pieces and a great platform to build from and as such, it might be worth the $$ for others. I really like the overall set up of the car. The seller was very respectful to me and I really appreciated that. I wish him all the best and looks like he is on track of seller the car for more than I had agreed to purchase it for. Congrats to him and his soon to be family.

For me, the filler in the bottom of the rear quarter panels that had rust (not rust repair in my book), the exhaust leak at the driver side header/head and the number of oil leaks with a supposedly 4K miles on engine/trans/rear end is why I had to walk away.

Did you test drive? If so, how did test drive go?

A built 351w with 6 speed stuffed in a 3000 lbs? A test drive might've sold the car.
