i have the hotcoat stuff, had it since spring and havent coated a single thing yet.
just got the girlfriends old stove and tring to set it all up in the garage. the 24x24 foot
    space is closing up fast.

that is what i plan on doing, coat any metal part that will fit in the oven, any bigger
and i'll strip and take to the local shop.

Hey John, how do you think it would do on some window bomerangs, tail light bezels, and head light bezels?

funny, I was looking at the boomerrangs and tail bezels tonight :D
This "super Chrome" I have really comes out looking like a polished aluminum....I have not put any clear on it yet, but I cannot imagine it changing to much.

I wish I had an old pitted up set (booms) to try it on...it might take a couple 3 coats and a little more work, but it might.....main thing is making sure the material can handle the 400* temp.
bring some with you and we shall see. :D

I just took off my boomerangs off this evening :D, come to think of it though I dont think that the headlight and taillight bezels would withstand that kind of heat. I would just end up with a "headlight puddle" insted of bezel. :evilsmile

I would like to powdercoat my small bumper brackets too, I wouldnt ever see them but it would make them last a loooooong time. If there is anything else you would like to try I have some spares laying around that I could donate to the cause. :evilsmile
