    will my mav support a 900W power source plus 2 100W speakers and the stereo? my car has the original alternator and a new battery? please any help will do me great

    I wud think u need to know how much current "amps" the unit draws at max output plus whatever current drawing accessories you operate; elec fan, AC, headlights whatever. After you get a rough idea of total current draw you will have some idea what you need to do. If you have stock 65amp unit u maybe close to or above what it can handle.

    What happened on this? Did you end up having to replace the alternator to run your system?

    I probably shouldn't repy to this but, you need basically 90amps to run 900W reliably, and that leaves only like ~10 amps to run the rest of you car.

    Sounds about right and if said device is even capable of producing 900w or if it was just stamped on the front.

    Actually 900 watts at 12 volts is 75 amps.
    Power/Wattage = Amperage x Voltage

    But like said above if the device is even capable of 900 watts.
