Thats good to hear! I have basically the same setup aside from 185s a slightly smaller cam and speed pro flat tops and 670 street avenger carb. i still havent put it all back in yet, Im waiting for it to get above freezing. but hope to take it on power tour this yea, after i get it all fine tuned.
Thats insane. Have you seen the price of a wideband 02?? Besides unless it has 8 injectors you cant do much with individual fuel air ratios. 1 per side is more than enough. Locating a wide band is critical. Some good articles ou there on the web on how to find the location.
I know this is an old thread, but as i was scanning through this bored in class I only saw one person mention WEIGHT REDUCTION i knocked off at least three tenths when reducing weight from the car. If you are a budget racer the cheapest way to faster is lose unnecessary weight!
Yeah because it makes you wallet weigh less, hence weight reduction. On a more serious note, a good crankcase evacuation system will give you a few more horses, they dont look the greatest but are said to be good for 25-50 horses and cheap at $50.00 and the bill to get the tubes welded in your headers or exhaust pipe, or you can go the more expensive way with a pump
KillerComet's car is a true, living, "breathing" testimonial for what a good set of heads can do for a motor. Rick (killercomet) didn't get where he is today without doing exactly what riporter is doing in this thread. ASKING QUESTIONS. There are a lot of great answers in this thread. Thanks for starting it, I know I've learned from it. Terry
