NAFORD, if you use it, let me know how much of a difference you notice on difficulty steering and the play in the steering.

I would really love to do this mod...

I've been searching the Mustang houses since I started this thread and looking at prices. The least expensive so far is John's Mustang out of Texas.
    Part # C5ZZ-3304-M $54.95 .

Why don't you just ask Frank what he thinks?

    Frank, what do you think?

How long ago did you do it?

I was asking NAFORD because I wanted it fresh on his mind, as in "Yesterday, I had power, today I don't, and man, it really feels alot harder to turn unless you are moving pretty fast!" or similar. I think Frank did his a while back, and he will probably say something more along the lines of "It's not too bad." but may not remember how drastic a change it was when he did it.

    Well...Frank?

I have 225 front tires and 245 rear, and a spool, so my steering will be a little harder than most, especially without the power...

Hey guys, John's is local for me, so I called him up. I asked if I put this in my car with 225 wide tires and my stock steering box, how hard would it be to turn...

    "Uh...next to impossible."

    Those aren't promising words.

Of course, I doubt he has personally done it.

Just thought I would throw that out there.

    Frank?

scott did you talk to john or one of the sales people. i was in there one day last week, when a customer asked, where the other wire was(looking for the ground wire) for the dash bulbs? the person behind the counter said,if you only have one wire going to the socket you need a new harness. i quickly corrected him.

Honestly, I don't know who I was talking to...I got transferred 3 or 4 times, talked to a guy (girl?) who spoke no english, and finally got some guy who sounded like he knew what he was talking about...

Hope their shipping is more efficient...?
