Ive had a simlar kit in my car for 15 years and it works fine. I mounted the double switch in my center consolette and ran the wires through a relay for full power. I also had to make custom door panels to go aroud the bulge of the motor and since there was now a hole from the crank.

I have a very comprehensive set of test equipment as Robotics and automation are what I work in. So actually whereas most people would not be able to test the power of the motors, I have a test rig set-up for testing motors like that. It's very similar to a home gym set with the stacked weight plates. So I select the weight I need to see them pull, and then drive them to pull it the length I desire. This is why all my friends and family bring me their cars when the windows get messed up.
