Prepping the INSIDE of panels/door

    Almost all of it was brushed on. I feel you can get into seams and all the little nooks and grannies with the brush. Just like painting a house. A sprayer is fast but a brush will push the paint into the cracks better. Besides, I didn't want to spend hours cleaning up a spray gun. :D

    I did try a couple of the Encapsulator spray cans and was very pleased with how it layed down. But the spray can will not provide as thick a coating as a brush will, so to me the spray cans are for tight areas or small parts that you want to protect but don't need to open up a can for. Like spraying a light coat on a spring or strut rod. The spray cans come in silver, black and red too.

    In retrospect, using a spray gave a better finish, but a brush gave a better coating for protection.

    Thanks, I brushed on most of the POR-15 too. I may try rust bullet in the future. I remember the photos you posted a while back!
