    john, don't know if you saw it or not, but this months hot rod has an article on powder coating. haven't read it yet.:)

    Powder coating looks great Are you using one of the kits that I've seen where you can just use an old eletric oven? Can we get correct Ford blue for brackets and stuff?

    Doug....I think it weighs less now, after all the gunk is gone :D

    Mike.... not sure how thick it is :eek: I have already installed the new shaft mounts and ball joints, test fitted the spindle and lower control arm, everything looks good. (y)

    Don...I have read it twice since I got the issue, thanks (y)

    timers.... yeah its a kit that was bought at Harbor Freight. :yup: Casswell plating as a gazillion colors, I am sure they have the right color blue.

    I had my spindles off recently and I didn't think about doing that:mad: ...Dam...
    I do have other parts at the coaters at this time though.
    Are you doing that in your oven at the house?

    Better watch it John, Pinky is going to have to be put up on a rotissery so we can see the underside. Those look GREAT!

    we powder coated aluminum missiles at my last job. the oven was at 450* for 1.5 hours. if a maverick missile made of aluminum can handle it, then i bet your intake would be fine
